Today's crafty creation comes from my hubby. I made up the same old cheese ball recipe, and he turned it into a winter scene with penguins. It was so adorable!

Gingerbread Garland
Here is another Christmas craft idea. I painted wooden spools and circles red and white to look like mints. I painted wooden stars red, white, and green, and I painted wooden boys and girls to look like gingerbread cookies. I hot glued them all onto twine and then tied on red and green buttons with red and green embroidery thread.

Christmas Crafts - Pins, Magnets, and Ornaments
Here are more Christmas craft ideas. I used scrap fabric, scrap ribbon, scrap yarn, popsicle sticks, wooden spoons from ice cream cups, and miscellaneous buttons in some of them (reduce, reuse, recycle!). The measuring spoons I bought at the dollar store, but you could also find used ones and add another recycling element to them. Enjoy!

Santa Treat Bottles
Here is a Santa treat bottle I made from a recycled yogurt smoothie bottle. I saved enough bottles to make one for all of my son's preschool class at the time. I filled them with Hershey kisses.
Here is what the tag said:
I started as a yogurt smoothie,
I was drank, washed, and made a cutie!
Now I'm all dressed and ready for treats,
Chocolates, caramels, and lots of good sweets!
Remember to fill me, but please be advised,
It's best not to put unwrapped candy inside.

Snowman Cheese Ball
I think I'm in love with cheese balls now because they can be made into just about anything! At Halloween, I made a Jack-O-Lantern (but forgot to take pictures). For our church's Christmas party at the women's shelter tonight, I made a Snowman Cheese Ball. It's so easy to make and tastes really good too. I got the recipe from the Kraft Foods website and used the picture on this site to create it.
